Quality evidence-based education
We combines online interactive lectures with traditional classroom instruction. CONSA Nursing Graduates are trained beyond general nursing disciplines to be competent in specialisations such as geriatrics, public health and community health. CONSA incorporated simulation into its clinical skills curriculum for our students allowing them to apply the skills in real-world situations. The aim was to move students’ clinical learning away from carrying out isolated tasks to applying the skills learnt in a range of complex situations, bridging theory and practice.
Web-based Learning
Web-based learning for CONSA Nursing. An e-learning platform with a self-directed learning tool to acquire research methods. Customised to nursing research, it focused on three main topics: basic research principles, quantitative methods and qualitative methods. The e-learning resource better prepared students for class discussions and enhanced their engagement and learning. Today, the e-learning module is available to CONSA Nursing students across all levels of studies.
