A BRIEF PROFILE
Rt. Rev’d. Ephraim Okechukwu Ikeakor attended Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (formerly, Anambra University of Technology), from where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate; West African School Certificate; and B.sc (Political Science); B.Sc (Library Science); B.Ed. (Education Management) respectively. He also did his Masters degree course in Education Administration (M.Ed) in the same university. Rt. Rev’d Ephraim O. Ikeakor had his Theological Education at Trinity Theological College, Umuahia from where he graduated with Distinction and obtained Diploma in Theology (Dip.Th.), and Post Graduate Diploma in Religious Studies (PGDip., Rel.).
Bishop Ikeakor, the Anglican Bishop of Amichi Diocese is undoubtedly, a true messenger of God.
Bishop Ikeakor has significantly impacted many areas of life, especially in Church ministry and in the educational sector.
Through hard work, commitment, and dedication to vision. Bishop Ikeakor is today the Proprietor of College of Nursing Sciences Amichi.
Bishop Ikeakor has a great passion for education, knowledge, and research. This love has translated into the establishment of many world changers educational institutions. These include: Holy Child Convent School, Masters Vessel Seminary School, Issachar Communications Academy ( ICT Thinkers Base), and College of Nursing Sciences.
Under his visionary leadership and mentorship and within just five years of existence, College of Nursing Sciences Amichi, has challenged the old records, dazed the doubting Thomases, and blazed the trail in Nigeria Nursing School education system.
College of Nursing Sciences is the first Missionary School in Nigeria to have the fastest approval of its application for operating license by the The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. It is the first to start full academic and administrative activities at its permanent site at take-off, with all facilities in place. Furthermore, it is also the first College of Nursing to have all of its programmes presented for accreditation approved by the The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. It has fully functional fibre optic internet coverage. College of Nursing Sciences Amichi, today, has become a centre of excellence – like nectar attracting the best brains in the land.
Bishop Ikeakor’s hobbies are writing, planning, reasoning, and reading,
Bible reading is different from Bible living. If you combine Bible reading with bible living, you become a Bible Christian. A consistent Bible Christian is a living Bible and a living epistle. (2 Cor. 3:2-3).
